At Texan Buildings (texan-buildings.com), we commit to high-quality craftsmanship and reliable service. Because our work involves custom construction, specialized ordering, and dedicated labor, our refund and cancellation policies are outlined below.
1. Project Deposits and Down Payments
- Custom Materials: Deposits paid for custom materials (such as specialized lumber, metal roofing, or custom shed kits) are non-refundable once the materials have been ordered from our suppliers.
- Scheduling Deposits: Deposits made to secure a specific start date on our construction calendar are fully refundable if you cancel at least 7 business days prior to the scheduled start date. Cancellations made inside this 7-day window may forfeit the scheduling deposit to cover lost booking time. [1]
2. Work in Progress (Cancellations)
If a project is canceled by the client after physical labor has commenced on-site, a refund will not be issued for completed milestones. The client will be billed prorated fees for: [1, 2]
- All labor hours completed up to the exact cancellation time.
- All building materials already delivered to or installed on the property.
3. Material Returns
Unused, standard building materials that are left over from a project cannot be returned for a refund by the client. All excess project materials remain the property of Texan Buildings unless explicitly paid for in full as part of a fixed-price material contract.
4. Craftsmanship and Satisfaction Warranty
We do not offer cash refunds for completed structural work or home repairs if you change your mind after construction. However, we stand by our work. If you are unsatisfied with the quality of a build or repair, Texan Buildings will return to the site to inspect and correct any craftsmanship defects according to the warranty guidelines outlined in your signed physical contract.
